Our professionally trained staff offers more than nursing care. We believe the residents entrusted to our care are the most important members of our health care team. We aim our programs at creating a warm, friendly environment where the dignity of each resident is maintained, as well as meeting the physical and emotional needs of the resident. At Markesan Resident Home we strive to maintain independence and dignity, while enjoying life and companionship.

From the very start, your care and comfort become our main objective. Prior to admission our staff begins by consulting with your physician and other health care providers to make sure our facility fits your needs. When you arrive we design a plan of care… with your assistance… to reach your goals, whatever they may be.

Markesan Resident Home provides services to a diverse and unique population. We recognize the need for services above and beyond those of a senior housing or traditional CBRF or Assisted Living. Therefore we have designed an extensive range of individual needs.

The campus consists of North Terrace, an Assisted Living Center; Skilled Nursing Center, a nursing and rehabilitation center; Anna's House, an Alzheimer unit; and North Street Senior Apartments.

Like a family, we are here to share in your joys and accomplishments as well as to be there when you need encouragement and support. Our Activities Department and our Volunteers make sure there is a wide range of things to do for everyone. Residents who are active are encouraged to maintain their lifestyle. Residents who must limit their activities don't have to limit their enjoyment of life.

The residents who come to Markesan Resident Home generally come to us from areas close to Markesan. We attempt to stay close to each other, our community, our family and our friends. We would like to share the tradition of family with you.
